"Vestmoldtransgaz" LLC (VMTG) was initially established as the State Enterprise "Vestmoldtransgaz" by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, in accordance with Government Decision No. 501 dated July 1, 2014. It was officially registered with the State Registration Chamber on July 16, 2014, with its headquarters located at 180 Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.

To engage in natural gas transmission activities, and in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Natural Gas, "Vestmoldtransgaz" LLC obtained an operating license from the National Agency for Energy Regulation. The license (AA Series No. 087187) was granted on January 6, 2015, and is valid for 25 years, until January 6, 2040.

The Company’s core activity is the transmission of natural gas, carried out in compliance with the conditions stipulated in its license, as well as all applicable technical and regulatory standards.

From the date of its founding, "Vestmoldtransgaz" LLC has ensured compliance with the legal and technical regulatory framework for the safe management of hazardous industrial infrastructure, as well as the international obligations assumed by the Republic of Moldova.

In March 2018, the Contract for the transfer of the unique patrimonial complex of the State Enterprise "Vestmoldtransgaz" was signed. The contract was concluded between "Eurotransgaz" LLC (as Buyer) and the Public Property Agency together with the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (as Sellers).

Following the reorganization of "Vestmoldtransgaz" and the transfer of assets to "Eurotransgaz" LLC, a new entity – the Limited Liability Company "Vestmoldtransgaz" – was registered on September 10, 2018, with "Eurotransgaz" LLC as its sole shareholder.

Subsequently, on September 13, 2018, the newly established "Vestmoldtransgaz" LLC obtained a renewed license (AC Series No. 001338) for natural gas transmission.

After completing the certification process as a transmission system operator, the Company received a renewed license (AC Series No. 001561) on September 21, 2021, replacing the previous license issued on January 6, 2015.

As the technical operator of the gas transmission system, VMTG is responsible for ensuring its operation in accordance with standards of quality, safety, cost-efficiency, and environmental protection.
